The LoverI wish I knew more about the heart, and how to read it.  
 
It would help a lot, to know how people feel, and not have to interpret it from their actions and the things they say.  
 
Nobody really says things directly, and when they try, they indirectly say what they directly wish to avoid to say.  
 
Blurting out I love you to the woman you love is indirectly telling her you are not ready.  
 
Say it with a stride, "I love you!" rather than "I think I love you." You need to be a man about it sometimes.   
To know someone is to know their heart, and how they think.

So for all the world to know,

Tonight my father threw me against the wall and hit me twice in the face.
I told myself I was unafraid and I prided myself in being fearless.
I called the police on him and they basically said they would put it in the records and to call if it ever happened again.
They didn't have the evidence to arrest him.
I know it will happen again and I made a decsion that I will continue to call the police whenever it happens.
I'm free of being afraid, finally.
I am free.
So, my 18th birthday is a few months away, sure.
But in my mind I am free.
I am no longer afraid of my father.
So, maybe I can't move out this time but I won't sit there and take it anymore either.
I finally made good on my threat to call the police.
So for all the world to know,
I am free.
